Noémi Mester, psychologist

About me

Hello, I'm Noémi

I'm a psychologist, and I believe in the power of the written word. Over the years I've seen how writing gives people room to say the things that are hardest to say out loud — and how a carefully written reply can be read again exactly when it's needed most.

That's why I focus my practice on e-mail therapy: real, in-depth psychological work carried out through thoughtful correspondence. It's not a shortcut around therapy — it's a different, often deeper way into it.

My approach is warm, non-judgemental and practical. I draw on cognitive-behavioural, schema and person-centred methods, and I always adapt to what you need — whether that's untangling anxiety, navigating a life transition, or simply having a safe place to think out loud.

A note on fit

E-mail therapy works well for many things, but it isn't right for acute crises or situations needing immediate support. If you're unsure whether it's a good match for you, just ask — I'll always be honest about it.
